Who is the “child” Christ Ahnsahnghong wrote about?
In the preface of Unsealing the Seven Thunders (1955), Christ Ahnsahnghong wrote:
When He gave the light to me, the world was in the dark of night. He shone His light throughout the four corners of the world, but there was no one to receive the light, so finally it was shone on me. And there is one more person. She is still a child. She is to appear after me. When the time comes, she will appear …
To deny the existence of Heavenly Mother, some say that the “child” spoken of here is about the Church of God at it’s early stage and not about Heavenly Mother.
Let’s see why this insistence is wrong.
1. Christ Ahnsahnghong wrote “There is one more person. She is to appear after me.”
Since Christ Ahnsahnghong said there is one more person, I think what He means is, ‘there is one more person.” We don’t need to go beyond what is written.
If He really meant that the child represents the Church of God, don’t you think He would have written “many people,” and not “one more person?”
2. Was the Church of God established at that time?
When Christ Ahnsahnghong wrote Unsealing the Seven Thunders in 1955, the Church of God did not yet exist. Christ Ahnsahnghong established the Church of God in 1964.
In 1955, Christ Ahnsahnghong wrote the book and preached the gospel while still attending the Seventh-Day Adventist Church until 1962.
How can the Church of God be in the “child-like” state that people claim it represents if the Church had not yet been “born”?
3. “She is to appear after me when the time comes”
Christ Ahnsahnghong said that the child will appear after Him. Did the Church of God appear “after” Christ Ahnsahnghong?
No, the Church of God was established in 1964. He continued to establish more Churches of God around Korea until 1985.
The Church of God did not appear after Christ Ahnsahnghong, so how can people say that Church of God will appear in due time as the child?
4. No one who could receive the light
Christ Ahnsahnghong wrote that no one could receive the light. So the light was finally shone on him and one more person.
This means that there are only two people in this world who received the light.
Those two people are Christ Ahnsahnghong and the one more person, who was still a child at that time.
These two people are the Saviors of this world prophesied in the bible.
Revelations 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
The insistence of what people say can easily be discredited if we just look at the truth.
